+ What should I wear?

At Word Baptist, you can "come as you are." We're a diverse group from all walks of life, so you'll fit in just as you are. Be comfortable, and don’t feel like you need to dress up. Jeans and a T-shirt are just as acceptable as a suit or a dress.

+ What do I do when I get there?

The awesome people on our parking team will help you find a spot. We reserve parking spots for our first time guests, so if you're new to Word Baptist, be sure to look for the spots marked "Guest Parking" when you enter the parking lot.

As you walk in the building, our Word Guest Services team is there to welcome you and help you in any way you need - church bulletin, a bible or a pen, or finding a seat in the Worship Center. Look out for anyone with a blue Word Baptist lanyard and name tag - they're there to help and serve.

+ What is the service like?

Services usually run one hour and 45 minutes: 30 minutes of songs led by Word Worship, a quick “hello” to everyone from stage, and around one hour of teaching by one of our preaching pastors. The music is in a contemporary, band-driven style, and the teaching is practical and straight out of the bible.

If it’s your first time, be sure to fill out a connection card and stop by and talk to Pastor Jamar on the way out. We have a gift to say thanks for being our guest today.

+ Is there Good Friday service this year?

Yes, we will have a service on Good Friday, April 19, at 6pm. We will focus on the 7 statements Jesus made while on the cross.

+ What is the Resurrection Celebration?

Our Resurrection Celebration (formerly Spring Fest) is April 13 from 12-2pm. Join us and enjoy inflatables, candy, carnival games & snacks, food and a photo booth. We will present an engaging and interactive drama that shares the truth that Jesus loves each of us. This event will help you and your family discover the Resurrection and the events leading up to it in a way you will never forget. You will love the engaging activities that drive home the biblical points. This event is 100% free and open to the public.

What about my…?

Word Kids is our children’s ministry here at Word Baptist Church. Word Kids is designed to create a fun and safe environment for birth-6th grade kids. We do this by partnering with families and providing biblical teaching that is sound, relevant, and fun. Follow the signs or ask one of our friendly volunteers to show you the way to Word Kids!
