The foundation of this church is the Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 3:11). The guidance of Word Baptist Church in all its affairs is the Word of God. This church affirms its faith that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testament are the infallible, inerrant Word of God, and the basis for our beliefs. This church agrees in principle and in spirit with the doctrinal statement of The 2000 Baptist Faith and Message as adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention June 14, 2000.
